The most EPIC night in North Carolina film.

One unforgettable night. North Carolina's boldest independent films. The artists behind them. And a room full of people ready to say, “I saw it here first.”

01 The experience

A film festival that feels like a premiere.

The lights are bright. The food is local legend. The drinks are the best the Tar Heel State has to offer. And when the screen goes dark, the people who made the films are sitting right beside you.

Good films. Good people. Good times.

04 Our story

Since2022

Celebrating North Carolina stories and the people brave enough to tell them.

The Argyle Rebel way

We built the festival we were told to leave home to find.

TAFF began with a simple belief: North Carolina filmmakers should not have to wait for another city, another institution, or another gatekeeper to decide their stories matter. They deserve a home audience, a packed room, and a cultural moment built for them.

So every year, for one night, we bring the state's independent film community together— not to imitate the biggest festivals in the world, but to create the night only North Carolina can.

Always be epic. Always be you.
